The Leicester City Council have submitted plans for the establishment of a permanent travellers' site on Ratby Lane.

The Kirby Muxloe Parish Council have confirmed their objection to this proposal.

A public meeting, organised by the Parish Council, took place on Friday 6 October, in St. Bartholomew's Church Hall. The hall was packed to hear a number of speakers voice their concerns about the proposal.

A copy of the proposal, submitted by Leicester City Council, may be seen in the Parish Council office.

You are encouraged to object to this proposal and are asked to send a letter of objection to the City Council.
Whilst it is understood that the deadline for receipt of letters of objection by the City Council has been extended, you are encouraged to send a copy of this letter without delay, if you have not already done so.
