The Leicester City Council have submitted plans for the establishment of a permanent travellers' site on Ratby Lane. The Kirby Muxloe Parish Council have confirmed their objection to this proposal. A public meeting, organised by the Parish Council, took place on Friday 6 October, in St. Bartholomew's Church Hall. The hall was packed to hear a number of speakers voice their concerns about the proposal. A copy of the proposal, submitted by Leicester City Council, may be seen in the Parish Council office. You are encouraged to object to this proposal and are asked to send a letter of objection to the City Council. |
