Parish Council ServicesThe Parish Council promotes the interests of Kirby Muxloe in its representations to other bodies and works in partnership with the District and County Councils to provide and supplement local government services within the village of Kirby Muxloe. The Council provides the following services: Children's play area![]() This enclosed area, situated close to the pathway from the Primary School to the Village Hall on the recreation ground, has a number of pieces of play equipment suitable for young children to use. Many of these pieces of equipment are surrounded by 'soft' surfaces to reduce the chance of any injury. Litter pickingAllotmentsA small charge is made towards the running costs. Recreation and Sports GroundThe Council maintains the recreation and sports ground, together with the associated pathways. The Millennium Way pathway, which is widely used by the local community, has been developed over recent years. Village Facilities and Displays
The Council provides and maintains public benches, flower boxes and hanging baskets within the village. Village MagazineThe 'Kirby Comment', a magazine about the village and the local community, is delivered to every household free of charge on a number of occasions throughout the year. Village HallThe Parish Council do not have any responsibility for the Village Hall on Station Road.
