Library Surgeries

As many of you know, I conduct monthly surgeries in the Kirby Muxloe Library building, allowing residents to voice their concerns to, and share their problems with, me.
This helps me to make decisions on Police priorities within the area.
Some problems, such as the on-going parking issues outside the school, when children are being taken to and from school, will become 'micro beats' - where Police Officers from different shifts help to monitor and take action on the on-going situation.

Priority will be given to identifiable problems where the Police can, with partner agencies, target and deal with issues that affect the lives and welfare of local residents.
The aim of course is to 'nip' these problems in the bud, allowing the Police to deal with major problems, such as speeding.
As you will appreciate, some issues take longer than others to sort out, and the Police cannot be in all places at all times.
By taking a measured approach to problems, together we can help to make the area a better one.

The dates and times of forthcoming library surgeries are shown below.

Wednesday 29th October 2008, 14.00 to 16.00
Saturday 29th November 2008, 10.00 to midday
Monday 29th December 2008, 10.00 to midday
