'Operation Kirby' (OK) gives local residents the opportunity to inform me of suspicious persons and vehicles, so that bits of information which might otherwise be lost, can be used to deal with potential offenders.
All I need is your name, address and a contact number so that we can work together to make Kirby Muxloe a safe and happy place to live - something which is in everyone's interest, both young and old.

A burglary which occurred in a quiet cul-de-sac in the village in the early hours of a morning recently was 'seen' by two separate households - but neither household reported the incident to the Police.

In two other incidents, burglar alarms have been activated, but neighbours assumed that they were just 'false alarms' and ignored them.
In reality, they were both genuine incidents.

Whilst incidents of this type are relatively rare in the Village, residents have a crucial role in the fight against crime - all the Police need is your help.

By noting down any information, descriptions of people, vehicle registration numbers, if you see any suspicious activity, will help to show that Kirby Muxloe will not be an easy place to come and commit such criminal acts.
