Diseased Trees in the Park

Removal of diseased trees, June 2007

Removal of diseased trees, June 2007

It is sad that a report received from the County Council has confirmed that the disease affecting the chestnut trees lining the pathway in the park is spreading and eight more trees need to be felled.

Update: 12 June 2007

The necessary work has now been carried out.

It is planned to plant trees to replace those that have been removed in the autumn.
