Carols Around The Tree

A packed Village Hall enjoyed the annual concert of carols and readings arranged by the Parish Council.

This year, entrance was by (no charge) ticket only, as a result of overcrowding in previous years. This resulted in a more comfortable and safer situation for everyone.

The choir and orchestra from Kirby Muxloe Primary School performed along with the Ratby Co-op Mid band and provided a most enjoyable and entertaining evening.

A collection was taken on behalf of Rainbows, after which Santa arrived, with Rudolph, to the tune of Jingle Bells!

Thank you to everybody who contributed to this very successful evening.

The Chair of the Parish Council, Ruth Buckingham, is thrilled with her kiss and flowers from Santa!
